U-12 HYDROPLANE ILLUSTRATION
Client Profile: U-12 Miss DiJulio Team takes part in the annual Seafair races on Lake Washington, and across the US.
Objective: The objective was to create an eye-catching Illustration and Design to put on Tee-Shirts for fundraising.
Target Audience: Hydroplane racing fans.
Solution: I came up with the concept to feature the Hydroplane "tearing out" of the shirt, exposing a checkered flag and sending a signature "rooster tail" of water shooting out behind the boat. Team graphics and information were added later.
Result: The client was ecstatic, and the shirts were a hit with the public. I was commissioned to design the shirts for the following year.
